Soupikandia riz a la sauce gombo (seafood and okra stew on rice)

    onion, chopped

    white fish, filleted and diced
  • 250

    fresh okra, trimmed and chopped
  • 2
    red peppers, chopped
  • 50

    dried fish, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • chopped parsley
  • 250

    shrimps or oysters (optional)
  • 500
    ml
    water
 

Method

 
Heat oil and sauté onion until transparent. Add all remaining ingredients. Simmer gently for 45 minutes until cooked through and soft. Serve with rice, garnished with cooked whole okra and pepper.
