Ingredients (12)

COOKIES
150.00 g butter — melted
3.00 eggs — extra-large
200.00 ml milk
5.00 ml vanilla — essence
500.00 ml flour — cake
12.00 ml Baking powder
salt — pinch
250.00 ml castor sugar
decoration — GROUPING
icing sugar — sifted
butter — soft, or margarine

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 ºC. Lightly spray a muffin tin with non-stick spray and line each hollow with a paper cup. Spray each paper cup with non-stick spray as well. Beat the butter, eggs, milk and vanilla essence until well blended. Sift the cake flour, baking powder, salt and castor sugar together. Sift into the butter mixture. Beat for one minute with an electric beater until well blended. Fill the paper cups three quarters of the way with the batter and bake for about 20-25 minutes until risen and done. Cool and decorate. DECORATION: Mix the icing sugar with soft butter, a little milk or water and enough colouring to make a bright icing. (Use enough butter so the icing will retain the colouring better.) Spoon the icing into small bowls and let the kids ice their own cookies.
Makes about 10 cookies.
