Savoury cake

    eggs
  • 250
    ml
    milk
  • 750
    ml
    flour
  • 250
    ml
    sunflower oil or olive oil
  • 10
    ml
    baking powder
  • 5
    ml
    salt
  • a variety of smoked meats such as ham, Portuguese chorizo
  • 1
    egg white
 

Method

 
1. Beat the eggs well. Add the milk, flour and oil alternately to the mixture, beating continuously. 2. At the end, add the baking powder. 3. Grease a 22 cm oven dish, preferably one with a hole in the middle. 4. Place a thick layer of the batter in the dish and then a layer of the meat. Continue doing this until batter is finished, ending with a batter layer. Brush the top with a little egg white and bake in a preheated 180 ºC oven until a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean.
