Sausage pasta salad

    g
    farfalle (ribbons) or any other pasta shapes
  • 250
    ml
    frozen peas
  • 30
    ml
    French salad dressing
  • 1
    spring onion, sliced into rings
  • 1
    carrot, scraped and cut into rings
  • 1
    small red pepper, seeded and diced
  • cucumber, halved lengthwise, seeds scooped out and thinly sliced
  • 4
    frankfurters or vienna sausages, sliced into rings
  • SALAD DRESSING
  • 15
    ml
    mayonnaise
  • 30
    ml
    plain yoghurt
  • 30
    ml
    milk
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
 

Method

 
Cook the pasta until done, adding the peas during the last three minutes of the cooking time. Drain, add the salad dressing and mix. Set aside to cool. Add the vegetables and sausages to the cooled pasta and mix. Whisk together the salad dressing ingredients and add to the pasta. Mix and season if necessary. Serve cold. Serves 4-6.
