    carrots, cleaned
  • 2
    green peppers
  • 1
    English cucumber
  • 1
    red pepper
  • 3
    onions
  • 750
    ml
    white vinegar
  • 750
    ml
    mayonnaise
  • 12
    ml
    sugar
  • salt
  • pepper
 

Method

 
Chop all vegetables finely and put them in a stainless-steel bowl. Pour vinegar over them and marinate overnight. Drain, pressing out all the excess vinegar. Add mayonnaise and season with sugar, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. Transfer to sterilised jars and seal immediately. Keep in fridge. Makes about 1,5 litres.
