Salad with dried pears and bacon

    Green salad with dried pears, bacon and vinaig

  • selection of salad greens including watercress
  • 125
    bacon rashers, cut into strips and fried
  • 6
    dried pears, cut into strips
  • basic vinaigrette
  • chopped pecan nuts or toasted sunflower seeds

Arrange the salad leaves on a serving platter and stack the fried bacon and pears on top.
Drizzle with a little dressing and scatter the pecan nuts or sunflower seeds on top just before serving.
Serve the remaining dressing on the side.
