Rosemary lamb chops

    oil
  • 125
    ml
    red wine
  • 10
    ml
    fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1
    clove garlic, crushed
  • 25
    ml
    tomato purée
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 6
    lamb chops, chined from the bone
 

Method

 
Mix the oil, red wine, rosemary, garlic and tomato purée in a mixing bowl. Marinate the chops in the mixture for about an hour. Season the chops with salt and pepper and braai over hot coals or fry in a heated ridged pan until brown on both sides. Serve with a salad and vegetable rice if desired. Serves 4-6.
