Roast onions with sage

Ingredients

  • onions, unpeeled
  • selection of root vegetables
  • olive oil
  • sage
 

Method

 
Cut unpeeled onions into quarters and place in a roasting pan with a selection of winter root vegetables. Sprinkle olive oil and sage over the top and roast in the oven until tender. Remove onion skins when cooked. This makes an easy pasta topping, or serve the vegetables with your favourite roast.
