Roast fruit kebabs with granadilla sauce

    large mango, peeled, stoned and cut into pieces
  • 1
    ripe pawpaw, peeled, pips removed and cut into pieces
  • 0.25
    fresh pineapple, peeled, stalk removed and cut into pieces
  • 1
    banana, peeled and cut into thick slices
  • 0.50
    lemon, the juice
  • 15
    castor sugar


Thread the pieces of mango, pawpaw, pineapple and banana on kebab skewers that have been soaked in hot water.
Place the kebabs on a baking sheet and sprinkle with the lemon juice and sugar.
Grill for five minutes under a heated oven grill until the fruit has caramelised, turning once.
Serve with granadilla sauce, made by halving the granadillas and spooning the pulp into a small bowl or jug.
Add the yoghurt and honey. And mix well.
