Quinces with honey and lemon

Ingredients

  • 125
    ml
    honey
  • 4
    Tbs
    lemon
  • 500
    ml
    water
  • 4
    quinces, peeled and halved
 

Method

Place all the ingredients in a large pan with some of the peels. Simmer for 2 hours or until the quinces are soft and the liquid has turned ruby-coloured and started to thicken. To serve, swirl some creamed honey into natural yoghurt and spoon over the quinces.
