    slices fresh white bread
  • a little milk
  • 25

    butter
  • 25
    ml
    cake flour
  • 125
    ml
    sour cream
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 50
    ml
    Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 200
    g
    tuna in brine, drained
  • 25
    ml
    Parmesan cheese
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Cut the bread slices into circles, moisten slightly with the milk and place in the hollows of a greased muffin pan. Make a white sauce with the butter, flour and sour cream. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add the cheese and tuna, blend well and spoon into the bread hollows. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until the cheese has melted. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve immediately. Serves 4.
