    potatoes
  • 250
    ml
    milk
  • 4
    eggs
  • 45
    ml
    cream
  • 20
    ml
    cake flour
  • 1
    ml
    salt
  • 1
    ml
    milled pepper
  • 1
    ml
    grated nutmeg
  • butter for frying
 

Method

 
Boil potatoes in their jackets until tender. Discard water. Steam potatoes over low heat for a few minutes. Peel and purée potatoes. Warm milk and add potato purée. Mix well. Add eggs, cream and flour and work to form quite a thick dough. Add seasoning and nutmeg. Fry portions of potato dough on both sides in butter in a small frying pan until golden brown and serve immediately. TOTAL KILOJOULE COUNT: 6 660 kJ (1 590 Cal). A portion: 1 330 kJ (320 Cal).
