Pork stir-fry with ginger

    pork strips
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • oil
  • 3
    cm
    piece fresh ginger, skinned and grated
  • 1
    clove garlic, crushed
  • 5
    ml
    ground ginger
  • 15
    ml
    soy sauce
  • 10
    ml
    lemon juice
  • 45
    ml
    vegetable stock
 

Method

 
Season the pork strips with salt and pepper. Heat a little oil in a wok or fairly large pan and stir-fry the meat until lightly browned. Add the fresh ginger and garlic while stir-frying. Reduce the heat and add the ground ginger, soy sauce, lemon juice and vegetable stock. Simmer for another 5 minutes. Serve immediately with prawn crackers. Serves 4.
