Oriental style pork fillet

Ingredients

  • 800
    g
    pork fillet
  • 45
    ml
    soy sauce
  • 65
    ml
    dry sherry
  • 5
    ml
    minced ginger
  • 2
    chillies, chopped
  • 5
    ml
    lemon grass
  • 2
    cloves garlic
  • 30
    ml
    honey
  • 15
    ml
    sesame oil
  • 1
    lemon, juice
 

Method

20-25 minutes
 
Preheat oven to 180 ºC.
Wipe fillet with a damp cloth and place in a small roasting pan.
Mix all remaining ingredients together and pour over meat.
Allow to marinate for at least an hour.
Roast fillet (in the marinade) for 20-25 minutes, basting half way through cooking.
Serve with Chinese noodles tossed with toasted sesame seeds and a big bowl of wilted spinach.
