    ready made frozen or homemade puff pastry
  • Filling
  • 5
    onions
  • 30
    ml
    olive oil
  • 30
    ml
    butter
  • 45
    ml
    sage leaves
  • 150
    g
    soft goat's milk cheese
  • freshly ground black pepper
 

Method

 
Preheat oven to 200 ºC.
Roll out pastry to 3 mm thick on a lightly floured surface.
Trim with a sharp knife to a 18 x 25 cm rectangle and place on a baking sheet.

FILLING
Place onion, oil, butter and sage in a saucepan and cook over low heat for 12 minutes, or until onions are soft and golden.
Spread goat's milk cheese over pastry and season with pepper.
Spoon onions over cheese and bake for 20 minutes, or until pastry is puffed up and golden. Serve with salad greens.
