    white beans, cooked

    vinegar or lemon juice

    brown sugar or molasses

    coarsely grated Gouda cheese

    green apples, peeled and chopped

    can chopped tomatoes

    black pepper

    breadcrumbs, mixed with 4 tsp oil

    noodles, rice or tortillas, to serve
 

Method

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and sauté the onions until soft. Add salt, curry powder, cumin and mustard, and continue cooking for 5 minutes.Add garlic and sauté for 5 minutes. Add all the other ingredients except the breadcrumbs and oil. Place in a greased oven dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs and oil over. Cover with foil. Bake for 45 minutes, and then remove foil and brown for 15 minutes. Serve with noodles, rice or tortillas.
