  • 500
    g
    long-grain rice
  • 625
    ml
    water
  • 10
    ml
    salt
 

Method

 
1. Place rice, water and salt in a saucepan with a tight-fitting lid. Bring to the boil over medium heat. Turn heat down to very low and allow to steam for 15 minutes. 2. Remove lid and fluff with a fork. Use hot as a side dish or use in Nasi Goreng. Serves 6.
