Mushrooms in sherry sauce

    large fresh brown mushrooms
  • 250
    g
    butter
  • 15
    ml
    fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 3
    cloves garlic, crushed
  • 125
    ml
    sherry
 

Method

 
Wipe the mushrooms with a clean cloth. Melt half the butter in a large pan and fry the mushrooms until brown. Remove from the pan. Wipe the pan and heat the rest of the butter with the remaining ingredients. Bring to a rapid boil, reduce the heat and simmer for another few minutes. Return the mushrooms to the pan and heat until warmed through. Serve immediately.
