    long white radishes (daikon)

    deep-fried tofu (bean curd)

    dashi stock (fish stock)
  • 30
    ml
    miso paste
 

Method

 
Slice radishes and tofu into pieces (about 4 cm across). Pour boiling water over tofu to remove excess oil. Boil radish in 500 ml (2 cups) water until soft. Strain water and add 750 ml (3 cups) dashi stock, radish and tofu. In a separate saucepan, stir miso paste over low heat until it melts. Add to other ingredients. Bring soup to boil and serve. TOTAL KILOJOULE COUNT: 970 kJ (230 Cal). A portion: 245 kJ (55 Cal).
