Meatballs in a flavoursome sauce

  • 500
    g
    mince
  • 60
    g
    brown onion soup powder
  • 250
    ml
    buttermilk or maas
  • 30
    ml
    cooking oil
 

Method

 
Lightly mix the mince, soup powder and buttermilk together using a fork and shape into 12 meatballs. In a heavy-based saucepan, fry the meatballs in heated oil till done. Transfer the meatballs to a serving dish and keep warm. Prepare instant sauce of your choice in the pan. Spoon the sauce over the meatballs and serve with pasta, boiled potatoes or rice. Serves 6.
