    piece of ginger
  • 5
    piece of cinamon sticks
  • 4
    peppercorns
  • 3
    cloves
  • 3
    cardamom pods
  • 30
    ml
    Indian tea leaves
  • 250
    ml
    milk
  • 45
    ml
    sugar
 

Method

Put onion, garlic, ginger and chillies in a food processor and chop finely but not to a paste; alternatively chop together with a knife.
Heat oil in a heavy-based frying pan over low heat and fry onion mixture until soft.
Add turmeric, stir for 1 minute.

Mix in cabbage, cauliflower and peas stirring thoroughly until the vegetables are coated in yellow paste.
Add salt, pepper, cumin, coriander and chilli powder, stir to coat the vegetables, cook for 15 minutes with pan. Partially covered, stirring occasionally until the cabbage is soft.
(If veggies become dry add a little bit of water).
Stir in the butter and season to taste.
