  • 360
    g
    cake flour
  • 5
    ml
    salt
  • 230
    g
    butter
  • 2
    egg yolks
  • Marmite (vegetable extract)
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 200 ºC (400 ºF). Sift the cake flour and salt together and rub in the butter using your fingertips. Add the egg yolks and mix well. Shape the dough into small balls, place on a greased baking sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until straw-coloured and done. Cool slightly on the baking sheet and sandwich the balls together with Marmite. Store in an airtight container.
