Lima beans with pesto and linguine

  • 500
    g
    linguine
  • 125
    ml
    bottled basil pesto
  • 820
    g
    lima beans
  • 30
    ml
    olive oil
  • 1
    handful freshly grated Parmesan
  • salt and milled pepper
 

Method

 
Cook pasta according to packet instructions.
Meanwhile, gently heat the pesto and beans together.
Drain pasta well and toss in olive oil and Parmesan, adding more oil if required. Season to taste.
Toss bean mixture into hot pasta and place in heated bawls. Serve with extra grated Parmesan.
