Fish with potato gratin

You need: kettle with boiling water; oven at 200°C; food processor with fine slicer blade; roasting pan on high heat; baking sheet lined with baking paper; medium saucepan with boiling salted water.

Ingredients (14)

gratin
600 g potatoes — washed
3 onion
30 ml fresh chillies — 573
1 chicken stock pod
salt and freshly ground black pepper
fresh thyme — sprigs
250 ml cream
30 g parmesan cheese — finely grated
FISH
800 g hake fillet
lemon — halved, juice only
salt and freshly ground black pepper
to serve — to serve
400 g broccolini

Method:

1. Gratin: Finely slice the potatoes
in the food processor. Put the slices in the medium saucepan with boiling
water, cover with the lid and boil for 10 minutesPeel and chop the onions in
the food processor. Arrange in the roasting pan and  drizzle the oil over. Add the stock pod and
season with salt and pepper.

2. Drain the
potatoes in a colander. Add to the roasting pan, mix with the onions and
arrange in a single layer. Pour the cream over, sprinkle the thyme and cheese on
top and bake for 20 minutes.

3. Fish: Put
the hake on the baking sheet, drizzle with lemon juice and season with salt and
pepper. Grill for 15 minutes or until done.

4. To serve: Put the broc­colini in
a glass bowl, cover with cling film and microwave for 3­5 minutes. Serve with
the fish and gratin.
