  • 800
    g
    hake fillets, skinned and cut into chunky pieces
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • cake flour
  • 15
    ml
    lemon juice
  • 250
    ml
    sour cream
  • 50
    ml
    milk
  • 250
    ml
    fresh breadcrumbs
  • 15
    ml
    mild curry powder
  • 125
    ml
    Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 5
    ml
    parsley, finely chopped
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC. Spray an ovenproof dish with non-stick spray. Season the fish with salt and pepper and roll in a little cake flour. Arrange in the prepared dish and sprinkle with the lemon juice. Blend the sour cream and milk and pour over the fish. Mix the breadcrumbs, curry powder, cheese and parsley. Sprinkle on top and bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
