Iced rooibos tea

  • 4
    rooibos tea bags
  • 1
    Litres
    boiling wader
  • 60
    ml
    sugar
  • 50
    ml
    lemon juice
  • 1
    Litres
    fruit juice (breakfast punch, mango juice or orange juice), chilled
  • 1
    Litres
    lemonade, chilled
  • ice cubes
  • fresh mint leaves and thin slices of lemon
 

Method

 
Place the tea bags and boiling water in a large jug and allow to draw for 10 minutes. Remove tea bags and stir in sugar until dissolved. Add lemon juice. Allow tea to cool. Add juice to cooled tea and refrigerate to chill. Add lemonade just before serving and stir. Add ice cubes, a mint leaf and a lemon slice to each glass and pour over punch.
