Hot cherries with ice cream

    ml
    butter
  • 50
    g
    sugar
  • 30
    ml
    brandy
  • 500
    g
    fresh or canned cherries
  • vanilla ice cream
 

Method

 
Melt butter in a frying pan, then stir in sugar and brandy. Add cherries and toss to coat. Cook until cherries start to caramelise. Serve hot with ice cream.
