Honey mustard gammon steaks

    gammon steaks
  • 45
    ml
    grainy mustard
  • 20
    ml
    mustard powder
  • 30
    ml
    honey
  • butter and sunflower oil for frying
  • 15
    ml
    mustard seeds
  • 1
    large lemon, juice
  • 60
    ml
    chicken stock
  • 30
    ml
    white wine
  • salt and milled pepper to taste
 

Method

 
Wipe gammon steaks with a damp cloth and set aside. Mix mustards ad honey together and spread over steaks. Heat butter and oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. When seeds being to pop, add steaks. Cook steaks, turning occasionally, until done, about 5 minutes. Remove from pan and keep warm. Increase heat to maximum and add remaining ingredients to pan juices. Allow to bubble and reduce slightly. Return steaks to pan and heat through. Serve with steamed green beans, sautéed or boiled baby potatoes and pan juices.
