Homemade bean and garlic dip

    g
    butter beans
  • 410
    g
    chickpeas
  • 2
    cloves garlic, crushed
  • handful Italian parsley or coriander
  • 30
    ml
    olive oil
  • 1
    lemon, juice
  • 30
    ml
    yoghurt
  • salt and milled pepper
 

Method

 
Place beans, garlic and herbs and half the olive oil in a blender and purée until smooth, adding remaining oil if mixture is too thick. Add remaining ingredients and purée some more until smooth and adjust seasoning. You can use a hand-held blender or a potato masher. The latter will give you a more chunky dip.
