  • 1
    wholewheat roll, cut open and lightly buttered
  • 5
    ml
    mayonnaise
  • 5
    ml
    wholegrain mustard
  • few lettuce leaves
  • 3
    cucumber slices
  • 3
    tomato slices
  • 3
    avocado slices
  • 1
    small carrot, coarsely grated
  • 4
    onion rings
  • a few bean sprouts
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 5
    ml
    olive oil
  • 5
    ml
    balsamic vinegar
 

Method

 
Spread one half of the roll with mayonnaise and mustard. Arrange the shredded lettuce, cucumber, tomato and avocado slices, carrot, onion rings and bean sprouts in layers on the roll. Season with salt and black pepper. Finally, sprinkle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Cover the roll with the other half and flatten gently. Serve immediately.
