    small red onion, cut as finely as you can
  • 1
    plum tomato, cut as finely as you can
  • 1
    ripe haas avocado pear, cut into rough chunks
  • 1
    clove garlic, grated
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1
    cumin powder
  • 1
    cayenne chilli powder
  • ½ - 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2
    fresh coriander, finely chopped



In a bowl, thoroughly mix together all the ingredients with only half the avocado.
Add the rest of the avocado so you keep a little of the chunkiness throughout.
Ladled over nachos, generously added to a burrito, as an epic dip, on a burger or even on its own, this is the most divine mash up, and healthy too.

Yields: 1 – 2 cups.
