Grilled tuna steak with tomato and corn salsa

    tuna steaks
  • SALSA

    whole kernel corn, drained

    turmeric

    chopped parsley

    cloves garlic, crushed

    paprika
  • 5
    ml
    cayenne pepper (or more to taste)

    lemon juice

    olive oil
  • 400

    tomatoes, puréed
  • salt and milled pepper
 

Method

 
SALSA: Mix all ingredients, seasoning taste with salt and pepper. Refrigerate until ready to serve. TUNA: Heat oil in a frying pan and fry tuna steaks (150-200 g each) for 3 minutes on each side, or until cooked. Test with a fork: tuna flesh should flake easily. Serve with a dollop of salsa and turmeric couscous.
