Ginger pork bites

Ingredients

    g
    pork sausages
  • 1
    onion, finely chopped
  • 10
    ml
    ginger, freshly grated
  • 125
    g
    finely chopped mushrooms
  • 85
    ml
    soy sauce
  • 25
    ml
    tomato paste
  • 150
    ml
    water
  • 60
    ml
    honey
  • 60
    ml
    red wine
 

Method

about 20 minutes
 
Remove the casings from the pork sausages and mix the meat with the onion, ginger, mushrooms, 25 ml of the soy sauce and tomato paste.
Roll the mixture into balls and place in a greased ovenproof dish.
Mix 60 ml soy sauce, water, honey and red wine vinegar and spoon over the balls.
Bake at 200 °C for 20 minutes or until done.
Serve lukewarm or cold with cocktail sticks to use for spearing.
