Fried chicken kebabs

    cooked deboned chicken
  • 250
    g
    Cheddar cheese
  • 425
    g
    pineapple chunks
  • 2
    eggs
  • 250
    ml
    self-raising flour
  • 2
    ml
    salt
  • 125
    ml
    milk
  • oil for deep-frying
 

Method

 
Cut the chicken and cheese into 3-cm cubes. Thread the chicken, cheese and pineapple chunks alternately on to skewers. Begin and end with a cube of chicken. Blend the eggs, self-raising flour, salt and milk to form a batter. Dip the kebabs into the batter and deep-fry in hot oil until golden brown. Makes 15-18 kebabs.
