Curried spaghetti

    uncooked spaghetti
  • 250
    ml
    tomato sauce
  • 125
    ml
    oil
  • 125
    ml
    white grape vinegar
  • 160
    g
    sugar
  • 25
    ml
    curry powder
  • few drops Tabasco sauce
  • 1
    green or red pepper, cut into strips
  • 1
    onion, finely chopped
 

Method

 
Cook the spaghetti in rapidly boiling salted water until soft. Drain well. Blend the remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Pour over the spaghetti and mix lightly. Cover and leave for a few hours or overnight, to allow the spaghetti to absorb the sauce. Serve hot or cold with braaivleis.
