Crunchy caramel tart

    sugar

    pecan nuts, finely chopped
  • 100

    glacé cherries, halved
  • 10

    baking powder
  • 200
    g
    cream crackers, broken into pieces
  • 380
    g
    Nestlé Caramel Treat
  • 250
    ml
    cream, stiffly whipped
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 180 ºC (350 ºF). Prepare a 24 cm pie dish with non-stick spray. Beat the eggs and sugar together until light and creamy. Add the pecan nuts, glacé cherries, baking powder and cream crackers andfold into the egg mixture. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared pie dish and bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool. Lightly beat the caramel condensed milk until smooth and spread over the tart. Spoon the stiffly whipped cream over the condensed milk and spread evenly. Serve with coffee. Makes a large tart.
