    milk
  • MEDIUM-THICK CUSTARD

    custard powder

    ml
    milk
  • THICK CUSTARD
  • 60
    ml
    custard powder
  • 45
    ml
    sugar
  • 500
    ml
    milk
 

Method

 
Blend the custard powder, sugar and 50 ml of the milk together. Bring the remaining 450 ml milk to the boil. Add the boiling milk to the custard mixture and stir well. Return everything to the saucepan and bring to the boil while stirring continuously. Simmer for a few minutes until thick and done, taking care not to over-stir. Serve hot or cold.
