Creamy chicken and mushroom pasta

    olive oil
  • 1
    large onion, chopped
  • 250

    button mushrooms, sliced
  • 250
    ml
    cream or sour cream
  • 6
    chicken breast fillets, cubed
  • 400
    g
    spaghetti or linguine, cooked and drained
 

Method

1. Heat the oil in a saucepan. Add the onion and sauté until golden. Add the mushrooms and fry until almost tender. Add the cream and, once it begins to simmer, add the chicken. Simmer for three minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
2. Remove the sauce from the heat and stir into the pasta. Serve with Parmesan or pecorino cheese.
