Ingredients (10)

6.00 bacon — rashers, finely chopped
2.00 onions — small, finely chopped
2.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
500.00 g beef mince
salt and freshly ground back pepper
410.00 g baked beans in tomato sauce
1.00 tomato paste
5.00 ml paprika
1.00 ml cayenne pepper
10.00 ml sugar

Method:

Fry the bacon in a pan until crisp. Remove from the pan. Sauté the onion and garlic in the pan fat until glossy. Add the mince and stir-fry until done. Return the bacon to the pan and season to taste with salt and pepper. Add the beans and the prepared tomato paste.
Simmer for a few minutes until the mixture thickens and season with the remaining ingredients. Serve with rice.
Serves 4.
