Corned beef tart

    g
    corned beef
  • 250
    ml
    fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1
    tomato, (skin removed) and chopped
  • 1
    small onion, chopped
  • 250
    ml
    milk
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1
    ml
    salt
  • 2
    ml
    mustard powder
  • pinch pepper
  • 100
    g
    grated Cheddar cheese
 

Method

 
Preheat the oven to 190 ºC (375 ºF). Grease a 1,3 litre ovenproof dish with margarine. Mash the corned beef, add the breadcrumbs, tomato and onion and mix well. Beat the milk, eggs and seasonings together and add to the corned beef mixture. Mix well. Spoon the mixture into the greased dish and sprinkle the grated cheese on top. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until the crust is nicely browned and the liquid has set.
