Citrus milk tart

    frozen puff pastry, defrosted
  • 1
    packet instant milk tart mix
  • 30
    orange liqueur
  • 1
    orange, grated peel
  • orange segments and orange peel in syrup to decorate


Roll out the puff pastry and cut it to fit a cake pan snugly, leaving a little overhang. Line pastry shell with baking paper to form a nest and fill it with dry beans. Bake shell blind in a hot oven until sides have risen and turned golden. Cool shell, remove beans. Make up milk tart mixture according to instructions on box, adding orange liqueur and grated orange peel. Pour mixture into prepared shell and decorate as desired with orange segments and strips of orange peel in syrup.
