For the base, beat butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Sift flour, cornflour and salt together and mix into butter and sugar mixture until a stiff dough is formed.
Press into a greased baking tray. Prick with a fork and bake in a preheated oven at 180 ºC for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 160 ºC and bake for a further 10 minutes. Allow to cool.
Heat the cream and 1 cup of peanut butter in a saucepan. Allow the peanut butter to melt and bring the mixture to the boil.
Turn off the heat and add the chocolate (broken into bits) stir and allow the chocolate to melt.
Once the chocolate has melted – pour over the base.
Melt the ½ cup of peanut butter (easiest is to do this in the microwave), pour this on to the chocolate and cream layer randomly and use
a toothpick to disperse and create a pattern.
Allow to set in the fridge for a bout half an hour.
