Chocolate truffles

  • 200
    g
    digestive or Tennis biscuits
  • 60
    ml
    cocoa
  • 250
    ml
    icing sugar
  • 100
    g
    chopped nuts
  • 250
    ml
    coconut
  • 200
    g
    hard margarine, melted
  • 60
    ml
    rum or brandy
  • chocolate vermicelli, coconut or crushed biscuits for rolling
 

Method

 
Crush biscuits into fine crumbs. Combine the crumbs, cocoa, icing sugar, nuts and coconut. Pour into melted margarine, add rum and mix. Allow to cool slightly then roll into balls. Roll in vermicelli, coconut or biscuit crumbs. Store in the fridge.
