Chocolate triangles

    g
    margarine
  • 65
    ml
    cocoa
  • 500
    ml
    castor sugar
  • 100
    g
    milk chocolate, broken into squares
  • 250
    ml
    currants
  • 750
    ml
    oats
  • 250
    ml
    coconut
  • 7
    ml
    vanilla essence
 

Method

 
Butter a 30 cm square dish or spray with non-stick spray. Slowly heat the margarine, cocoa, castor sugar and milk chocolate until smooth. Bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent it from burning. Add the remaining ingredients and spoon the mixture into the prepared dish. Press the mixture into the dish and refrigerate. Cut into triangles before it sets completely. Makes about 55 triangles.
