    chocolate chips
  • 125
    ml
    walnuts - chopped
  • 180
    g
    butter
  • 60
    ml
    soft treacle sugar
  • 1
    extra large egg
  • 1
    extra large egg yolk
  • 1
    pinch
    salt
  • 380
    g
    self-rising flour
 

Method

Preheat oven to 180°C. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Stir through egg and yolk using a wooden spoon. Sift in salt and flour and mix well

Add choc chips and walnuts to dough. Place large rounded tablespoonfuls of mixture on a baking tray and bake for 10 -12 minutes or until edges turn golden. Remove and cool

Tip: Always store the biscuits in an airtight container to prevent them from becoming soggy.
