Ingredients (10)

150.00 g butter — unsalted, at room temperature
250.00 ml brown sugar — soft
250.00 ml brown sugar — soft
1 eggs — beaten
10.00 ml vanilla — essence
250.00 ml flour — cake
5.00 ml Baking powder
0.00 0 salt — just a pinch
580.00 ml oats — rolled
250.00 ml chocolate — chips

Method:

Preheat the oven and line two
baking sheets with baking paper.
Cream the butter and sugar until
light and creamy. Add the egg
and vanilla essence and beat until
smooth. Sift the cake flour, baking
powder and salt in a mixing bowl
and add that as well. Mix through.
Stir in the rolled oats and chocolate
chips until thoroughly mixed.
Roll the dough into balls and
place them on the baking sheets.
Press the balls slightly flatter with
a fork that has been dipped in
cake flour and bake them for about
20 minutes or until they are a light
golden brown. Let the cookies cool
slightly on the baking sheets before
you remove them.
