    butter

    golden syrup
  • 75
    ml
    cocoa
  • 250

    chocolate biscuits, crumbled
  • FILLING
  • 300
    g
    milk chocolate, broken into squares
  • 500
    g
    smooth cottage cheese
  • TOPPING
  • 50
    g
    milk chocolate
  • 450
    g
    strawberries, washed and hulled
 

Method

 
Prepare the crust: Heat the butter, golden syrup and cocoa until the butter has melted. Stir in the biscuit crumbs and mix well. Press into a 20 cm loose-bottomed pie dish and chill until needed. Melt the chocolate in the microwave oven or over a saucepan with boiling water. Stir occasionally. Mix in the cottage cheese and pour into the prepared pie crust. Chill until set. Make the chocolate curls by scraping over the chocolate with a vegetable parer. Stack on top of the filling and decorate with the strawberries. Makes a medium tart.
