Chocolate and coconut clusters

    cup
    butter
  • 2
    cup
    sugar
  • 1/2
    cup
    cocoa powder
  • 1/2
    cup
    milk
  • 3
    cup
    oats
  • 1
    cup
    fine desiccated coconut
  • 1
    tsp
    vanilla essence
 

Method

Grease a baking sheet with butter. Put the butter, sugar, cocoa powder and milk in a pot.

Heat over medium heat, stirring until the mixture boils. Turn down the heat to low and cook for 5 minutes.

Stir in the oats, coconut and vanilla essence. Stir until well mixed.

Take 2 teaspoons and form small clusters of the warm mixture on the baking sheet.

Leave on the baking sheet to cool down completely. The clusters should be cold and firm.
