Ingredients (6)

125.00 g flour — cake
30.00 g cocoa powder
salt — just a pinch
125.00 g butter
60.00 g castor sugar
50.00 g nuts — nibs or pine nuts

Method:

1. Sift flour, cocoa and salt together.
2. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the flour mixture and the nuts.
3. Roll the mixture into small balls and place on a greased baking sheet. Flatten the balls with a wet fork, with a circular motion.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 190 ºC for 8 to 10 minutes. Do not allow the biscuits to colour, as they will taste bitter.
5. Cool on a wire rack and serve with ice cream of your choice.
