Chicken lasagne

    rashers of bacon (optional)

    onion, chopped

    stalks of celery with leaves, sliced

    chicken breast fillets, cut into strips

    box instant lasagne kit
  • 250
    mushrooms, sliced

    smooth cottage cheese


1. Heat the oil and sauté the bacon until beginning to brown, add the onions and celery and cook until onion begins to soften. Add the chicken and cook for a further 5 minutes. 2. Prepare the tomato and herb sauce according to pack instructions. Add the mushrooms and sauce to the chicken mixture and allow to simmer for 5 minutes. 3. Prepare the cheese sauce according to pack instructions. Mix in the cottage cheese. 4. Arrange layers of chicken mixture, then lasagne sheets in an ovenproof dish. Top with cheese sauce and bake covered in preheated 180 ºC oven for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for a further 10 minutes.
